Finding his true calling in life at just 13, Harley Streten (aka ‘Flume‘), got his first taste of production in the most unlikely of places…Captivated by a music production program give-away found in a cereal box, Harley began his obsession with all things synthetic, obtaining plug-ins, sample packs & vintage analogue hardware. Now, 6-years on, at the ripe clubbing age of 19, Flume’s production skill and knowledge rival that of producers 10yrs his senior.
Sleepless is Flume‘s debut EP and has enough lush pads, chopped and chipmunked vocals, saw synths and awesome percussion to impress any fan of Hudson Mohawke, Flying Lotus, Seekae or Space Dimension Controller.
