Breaking Out : Mitch Murder & Futurecop!

by luxulterior

Johan Bengtsson, also known as Mitch Murder has a great way of looking at what he does: “‘The concept behind Mitch Murder…is to try and keep it as 80’s authentic as possible. with all the 80’s influenced house and “chillwave” etc out there now, I try to make music that sounds as if it was still 1984.”

So remember when I said I was not a fan of remixes? Well the problem was that I was not listening to the right musicians. Mitch Murder proved me wrong once again with this brilliant, moody remix of Lazerhawk‘s Arrival. If you have never heard of either of these amazing artists please look for their work here and here. Mitch Murder will take you back to the 1980′s california sound while Lazerhawk reminds us that EDM is still branching out into new notable areas and subgenres. Lazerhawk is all about the gap years of the late New Dance Sound of Detroit and 80’s synth movie music with a dancefloor twist.

On that note. Mitch has a new breaking out remix of futurecop‘s starworshipper!
